CONVERSE BLOCK PARTY MURAL 1by ~laresistance

Traditional Art / Paintings / Psychedelic

I did a color-by-numbers-mural for Converse Block Party in Antwerp last week ( partly organized by Vice Magazine ). It was a fantastic day with fantastic people and I thank everyone who came by to paint. Especially the kids who made the piece a little bit more psychedelic in the end.

my first design was a lot bigger so I only used 1/3d of the characters here. included are: a gumball astronaut, a rock and roll tree, an urban tucan, a three-breasted mermaid, conan the ice cream barbarian, a mexican vomiting wrestler, a transsexual marge simpson, a hot dog lady, a telephone, an icecream-loving basketball-playing unicorn and a melty icecream-man.

ja, ik ga er deze week nog één doen voor Converse in Gent. Enorm enorm leuk om te doen. ik had er nooit aan gedacht vroeger, maar ik wil veel meer muurschilderingen maken nu. het is een goeie afwisseling tussen aan een tafeltje zitten tekenen
